I need a good hair product that I can put in my hair after showering in the morning. My hair is damaged from straightening so much by I haven't used an iron on it for months and I also eat healthy. My hairdresser recommended cutting off 2 inches to get rid of my split ends but there's no way I can do that because I'm trying to grow it out. I need something completely natural that will moisturize my hair and isn't harsh at all. Something inexpensive please, thank you!
Hunny, i do hair and you need to cut the 2 inches. If you have split ends it will just keep spliting and as your hair grows it wont seem like it because the ends are splitting off and shedding any growth from the top. Cut and use professional products because professional products are the same pH of hair which is 4.5-5.5 (acidic) and you want to use a products that is the same as your hair pH. A lot of cheap brands are more alkaline versus acidic like hair is they cost more but more benefits to it.
Redken extreme shampoo and conditioner . And extreme anti snap 1 pump before blow dry or air dry .
I need recipes for natural hair product with things that i can find around the house and i have peppermint extract.
I don't know if when you say hair products, you mean shampoo and conditioner, styling products, or both. So here's what I can give you.
Sea Salt Spray:
8oz spray bottle
Pour 4oz of water into the spray bottle. Add 1/2 tsp. Of sea salt. Add 1/2 tsp. Of conditioner(add more if you have extra dry hair) and a dab of hairgel. Unscented is best so it doesn't interfere with the conditioner. Shake the bottle for about a minute, and spray throughout your hair. Then, flip your head upside down and scrunch. You should have beachy, wind-blown hair!
That's all I know off the top of my head, but there is a WONDERFUL website of food and beverages that are GREAT to put in your hair! It is
My hair is not frizzy or dry. I just would like to know if like for example, CVS has any products for curly hair that are natural and are healthy for your hair. I always buy my products at my local drugstore and that is why i am asking. I would also like to know what are the treatments and products that make your curly hair amazing. I tend to not take care of my hair as much and wash it everyday! I would also like to know if it's best to wash your hair at night and sleep with wet hair, or if it's better in the morning, (i wash my hair at night), Please let me know what are the best products for me what i can do to keep it healthy, etc. By the way my hair is really CURLY!
There are many hair products out there because it is a billion dollar business, but it's up to you to control or tame your curly hair by the use of manipulation.
1. DH uses Gold Bond lotion when it's damp, and comb his hair.
2. One method to make your hair look fuller, add body, bouncier, thicker, more volume & shiny hair is to set your hair with plastic curlers, (not Velcro) you'll end up with uniform balance of curls. Blow dry while curling them in curlers. Take them out, and finger comb, use a brush, give it a good shake all of the above. Your hair will fall nicely, plus you'll ged rid of all the sectioning parts. You'll get the bombshell trifecta: lift at the roots, volume at the sides, and a soft swing. Used by the best hair color models, and the fashion industry, like Victoria Secret Fashion Show Dec. 2009 & 2010, (backstage getting ready) America's Next Top Models, EXPRESS models seen in Glamour magazine Sept. Issue, and are continued to be used today where salons care about pampering your hair. Even Oprah uses them! (while she's getting an interview backstage). When you see hair on TV (Dancing with the Stars backstage) a hair color commercial, they're not done by curling or straightening tools. Hair that shines like that and feels like hair, not hay, has to be done by the best hair tools available w/out damaging to the hair. When you take the curlers out, finger comb to style or lightly brush. Tousle the hair up. Or shake your hair. You can use large, medium or small curlers, that depends on the length of your hair.
3. Shampoo. Condition. Towel dry, scrunch with gel like Samy, blow-dry using a diffuser briefly, tousle the hair, finger comb, shake your head & you're good to go. If you don't have a diffuser, use a blow heat dryer on low for 5 mins.
When you wake up, instead of shampooing again, keep a bottled water filled with water/conditioner and spray on your hair. Scrunch, finger comb and you're good to go!
