I need a homemade heat protector for hair?

I need it cuz I don't wanna go to the store and purchase it please and thank you!!!

Posted by Hailey
[display_name id=”1″]

Homemade, store bought, no matter . . . HOW they're made. HEAT PROTECTION, does not protect hair 100%. Like using sunscreen, you still get sunburned. Same with hair. Hair products are not made of glue to fix, prevent, reverse hair from getting damaged or hair loss, they ARE A TRILLION DOLLAR BUSINESS, and the hair industry also do not give money back guarantee for damaged hair or hair loss caused by heat & chemicals.

Heat & chemicals are hair's worst enemies. If you want curly hair, (or straight hair to tame your curly hair) look @ videos or hairstyles of women in the late 40's or 50's, and see how healthy & silky their curly hair was. Have you seen Miracle on 34th Street or Downton Abbey? Their hair wasn't styled by professional hairstylists. They were styled by maids. No hair oil, no serum, no hair sprays, and no gels with just the use of shampoo & conditioner. Many countries didn't even have bottled shampoo & conditioner, example in my country, all we've ever used was a bar of soap for our bodies, hair & laundry. I did that for 13 years, even though my hair was permed, but there was no frizzy, no blowdrying and my hair was the same as today: silky, shiny, soft, smooth it IS HOW they are styled when they're wet, and no hair dryer (for 13 years I lived in Asia). Many women then had long hair, curly hair and they wore hats, and pin-curled or plastic curlers curled HAIRSTYLES. The men too, have very shiny hair like the women, although the men used pomade . . .that was before Bumble & Bumble's production 70's, John Frieda's production 1988 or the invention of heating tools, and WEN in 1996. Another way to find the secret to beautiful hair? Find someone with beautiful healthy curls or silky, shiny (not greasy) straight hair and ask him or her to share secrets, preferably someone who is 40-60 years older than YOU. I have 5 decades, so you're getting the answers you need, right here! I won't charge you a penny!
Better yet, watch Pretty Woman – Julia Roberts's hair in that movie! In the 90's, they didn't have many hair products or heating tools and they also styled her hair many ways!

I'll whip up a regime for ya 🙂

1.shampoo your hair once a week -shea moisture retentions shampoo is a good moisturizing one
2.deep condition (hair treatment) your hair always after shampooing -silk elements megasilk moisturizing treatment is a good one.
3.co-wash on the days in between when your hair is dry as an alternative to shampooing if you don;t know what it is look it up here:
4.always apply a moisturizer on your hair.-silk elements silken child is a good leave in but an amazing one is qhemet biologic amla and burdock heavy cream
5.an oil to apply on your hair after that or on your scalp can be argan, coconut oil or castor oil (which i love)
6.before i forget for a conditioner you can use anything that works for you- yes to carrots conditioner is a good recommendation.

Everybody always asks me how much did it cost me to do my hair i love it i've been using anti breakage olive grownth oil a miracle minimizes split ends stops beakage and leaves hair shinny and all organic but about my hair i never want it to change well when i get old but not now i want something to keep my natural hair color great.

Use good shampoo and good hair oil which keeps your hair think, shiny & black. You can try Mira hair oil. It is that the product is all natural. You are not putting any harsh chemical compounds into your hair. Many hair products use sulphates. Sulphates can actually strip the moisture out of your hair and reduce the shine. Even among the more effectively-recognized hair oil merchandise like Moroccan Oil have several chemicals in them that simply aren't great to your hair.

Not sure that Loreal products are actually "natural plant product"…they can use the word "natural" very loosely to trick you.

I use Harvest Moon hair dye and it is all natural plant product that does not contain any chemicals. They do have a black color, not sure about the degree of black color you would get. I am sure they can help you answer any questions you have.

Best natural hair product?

I need a good hair product that I can put in my hair after showering in the morning. My hair is damaged from straightening so much by I haven't used an iron on it for months and I also eat healthy. My hairdresser recommended cutting off 2 inches to get rid of my split ends but there's no way I can do that because I'm trying to grow it out. I need something completely natural that will moisturize my hair and isn't harsh at all. Something inexpensive please, thank you!

Posted by kittykats08

Hunny, i do hair and you need to cut the 2 inches. If you have split ends it will just keep spliting and as your hair grows it wont seem like it because the ends are splitting off and shedding any growth from the top. Cut and use professional products because professional products are the same pH of hair which is 4.5-5.5 (acidic) and you want to use a products that is the same as your hair pH. A lot of cheap brands are more alkaline versus acidic like hair is they cost more but more benefits to it.

I don't know if when you say hair products, you mean shampoo and conditioner, styling products, or both. So here's what I can give you.

Sea Salt Spray:
8oz spray bottle
Sea Salt
Hair Gel

Pour 4oz of water into the spray bottle. Add 1/2 tsp. Of sea salt. Add 1/2 tsp. Of conditioner(add more if you have extra dry hair) and a dab of hairgel. Unscented is best so it doesn't interfere with the conditioner. Shake the bottle for about a minute, and spray throughout your hair. Then, flip your head upside down and scrunch. You should have beachy, wind-blown hair!

There are many hair products out there because it is a billion dollar business, but it's up to you to control or tame your curly hair by the use of manipulation.

1. DH uses Gold Bond lotion when it's damp, and comb his hair.

2. One method to make your hair look fuller, add body, bouncier, thicker, more volume & shiny hair is to set your hair with plastic curlers, (not Velcro) you'll end up with uniform balance of curls. Blow dry while curling them in curlers. Take them out, and finger comb, use a brush, give it a good shake all of the above. Your hair will fall nicely, plus you'll ged rid of all the sectioning parts. You'll get the bombshell trifecta: lift at the roots, volume at the sides, and a soft swing. Used by the best hair color models, and the fashion industry, like Victoria Secret Fashion Show Dec. 2009 & 2010, (backstage getting ready) America's Next Top Models, EXPRESS models seen in Glamour magazine Sept. Issue, and are continued to be used today where salons care about pampering your hair. Even Oprah uses them! (while she's getting an interview backstage). When you see hair on TV (Dancing with the Stars backstage) a hair color commercial, they're not done by curling or straightening tools. Hair that shines like that and feels like hair, not hay, has to be done by the best hair tools available w/out damaging to the hair. When you take the curlers out, finger comb to style or lightly brush. Tousle the hair up. Or shake your hair. You can use large, medium or small curlers, that depends on the length of your hair.

3. Shampoo. Condition. Towel dry, scrunch with gel like Samy, blow-dry using a diffuser briefly, tousle the hair, finger comb, shake your head & you're good to go. If you don't have a diffuser, use a blow heat dryer on low for 5 mins.
When you wake up, instead of shampooing again, keep a bottled water filled with water/conditioner and spray on your hair. Scrunch, finger comb and you're good to go!

For anyone who uses Organic Root Stimulator hair products is it safe to use on color treated hair?

So ive recently discovered something that I never ever knew before. There are numerous ingredients/chemicals found in the everyday hair and skin products that us females use on a regular basis. ( For example;Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Propylene Glycol, Disodium EDTA,Parabens, Petrolatum,Mica etc.) So i was looking to start a whole new hair care regimen using Organic Root Stimulator hair products seeing as though they do not contain any of the above ingredients) however i also wanted to color my hair jet black using bigen but i need to find out if the ORS uplifting shampoo is safe to use on color treated hair If not what other shampoos/ conditioners are safe to use?? Thanx In Advance 4 All Advice/Opinions!!!!!!!!!!!

It's definitely fine to use ORS hair products on color treated hair. My hair is not color treated but has a rinse in. The free hair care forum I subscribed to has tons of females on there who is relaxed & colored treated and have ORS as one of their top staple product(s). That is great you are trying to cut out products that have harsh and unnecessary ingredients like SLS. So far I am able to cut out alot of products in my regimen that have mineral oil, lanolin, petroleum, SLS and parabens. It's hard since more than half of all hair products have those ingredients, there are hair products out there that contain nothing but natural ingredients that are sold in salons like "Trade Secrets" but they can be expensive. As for the ORS Uplifting shampoo, this is a clarifying shampoo that should be used no more than once a month, twice if you get lots of build up quick, clarifying shampoos can be very drying because it clears out all the silicones from the products, oils and other stuff that are stuck on the scalp. This shampoo is also fine to use on color treated hair.

Most hair care products that have organic in their name are anything but Organic (especially the products that are found everywhere and cheap). This is because there is no organic standard for non food items so you can call any shampoo Organic legally even if it has zero certified Organic ingredients and is full of stuff that would be banned if there was an Organic standard for such items.

This website has a lot of information about this including what brands really are Organic vs brands that are Organic in name only Http://www.organicconsumers.org/bodycare…

Whats the 411 on ORGANIC ROOT STIMULATOR hair products?

Give me your opinion (good or bad) on this line of hair products.

[display_name id=”1″]

I have ORS Hair Mayonnaise and it's a good protein treatment. I only use it when my hair is so dry and brittle that my regular moisturizers cannot restore my PH balance (moisture balance). It moisturizes and conditions my hair very well, more so than the other products I have. I used it about 6 days ago and I was able to sleep on my hair with wrapping it for about 5 days before my hair began to show signs of dryness. Sleeping on a cotton pillow case without wraping the hair in a satin/silk scarf will dry out the hair. It's day 6 without wraping my hair and it's beginning to feel brittle from the cotton pillow cases.

This is the only product of theirs I use. If I use the product too much then my hair gets too much protein and begins to break off.

Are "Do Gro" products good for natural hair?

Posted by
[display_name id=”1″]

With Natural Hair you really want to be careful. In my opinion natural needs to stay with natural. Meaning you really only want to use products that are for sure natural. Because, products like "Do Gro" they still have some pretty harsh chemicals in there products and the also use mineral oil. Mineral Oil is the worst thing to put in your hair because it can clog your pores, with clog pores means slow to stopped hair growth. This product could wind up doing less other than more for your hair. For an example of some good natural product lines that gets your hair really clean and moisturized are Kinky Curly, Shea Moisture, Curls, I haven't used Miss Jissy"s but I heard great things about it, and Aubrey Organics are all wonderful natural hair product lines. I hope this helped!

It depends what you mean by "repackage". Most companies with quality products want their brand name on there (and it would also help you to have a product that already has brand recognition).

If you mean "repackage" as in making up gift baskets with their products and brand or something similar, most companies would be fine with that.

Hi, I am a holistic healer and I am a distributor for Young Living Essential Oils. I joined the company four years ago after my chiropractor recommended the products. He carried them in his office and used them in his practice.

This company offers a variety of therapeutic grade essential oils, skin care products, soaps, shampoos, supplements, household cleaners and energy drinks and I feel fortunate to have found them. I no longer purchase natural products from Whole Foods, Vitamin Stores, etc and I absolutely love the products! And so does my Mom!

There is a wholesale program that allows you to purchase at 30% off retail. It has a one time small start up fee of $40 which is nothing considering that you get two essential oils of lavender and peppermint (5 ml) each, educational material and some energy drink samples. There are no inventory, or even monthly order or selling requirements. So a wholesale account can be used for personal use.

Young Living provides you with everything for a healthy lifestyle and can help you get off your meds! Of course, I would like to help you as well.

My website below provides you with more information and you can check out the shop. The shop contains a fraction of the products that are available and the prices are retail of course. I save about 30% off retail and more considering promotions and other perks.

My site also will give you some tips on making some of your own products.

[display_name id=”1″]

The natural logarithm and natural exponential function f (x) = ex are each others inverses. This applies for example, that f '(x) = f (x). For the second exponential functions g (x) = ax in g '(x) = (ln a) g (x). This means that you may find that the natural exponential function is more natural than other exponential functions. All other exponential functions can also be rewritten with the help of the natural. You've got ax = ex ln a. For this reason, other algorithms written using the natural as Alogar x = (ln x) / (ln a).

Examples of natural numbers?

What are the examples of natural numbers? Is negative numbers, fractions, irrational numbers in natural numbers?

Posted by yj
[display_name id=”1″]

A natural number is any number that is a positive integer. That is, you have 1 as the starting element, and add 1 to it, you get a natural number, and as you repeat this, you always get a natural number. Since being a natural number requires a number to be positive, a negative number cannot be a natural number. An irrational number is any decimal that is nonterminating and nonrepeating, so it also cannot be a natural number. Fractions also are not part of the natural numbers, unless you get a natural number by dividing the numerator with the denominator (Example: 1/1 = 1).

Skateboards Made Of Fishing Net Help Clean The Ocean As They’re Made (psfk)

Green products are growing in popularity for a number of reasons, high among them is that they have qualities that will protect the environment, and they replace artificial ingredients with more natural ones. It's no surprise that these notions have resulted in the expansion of green initiatives to include more mainstream items, and items geared towards youth. Bureo Skateboards has latched onto this idea and exapnded upon it.
Founded by three friends who worked in collaboration with designer Gabriella Laruccia and organic recycled skateboard company Satori Movement, Bureo Skateboards has come out with the first skateboards whose decks are made entirely out of recycled fishing nets. The company has a recycling program that salvages fishing nets from off the coast of Chile to create these Minnow cruising boards, each of which removes 30 square feet of fishing nets from the ocean and reduces the greenhouse gas footprint by as much as 70 percent. In addition, the skateboards feature a fish-like design, including a split tale, scales, and wheels with 100 percent recycled cores and made from 30 percent vegetable oil.
Bureo's recycling program, "Net Positiva," guarantees that all labor and materials are locally sourced and provides Chilean …

I use natural deodorant and…?

My arm pitts still smell sometimes. I don't want to use anything to harm my body. Any suggestions on other natural ways??

You are probably using an external natural deodorant. They don't last long as they are displaced by perspiration.

Have you tried an internal natural deodorant?

Liquid chlorophyll is an internal natural deodorant that deodorises your body odours before they come out of your pores.

Jason natural deodorant?

I have an underarm sweating problem, i take pills and i used clinical strength deodorant, i stopped taking the pills because they made my sweat smell like urine, which is odd /: i know, so anyways, one of my dance teachers told me about using all natural deodorant. I was apprehensive, but i was at Ulta one day and i saw Jason apricot natural deodorant and i had a coupon so it was basically free, so i bought and i'm deciding to try it. It's making my armpits smell really nasty all the time, is this supposed to be happening? If you use it, did this happen at first? Thanks(:

Toms of Maine makes natural apricot deodorant as well, and even though it smells great when it first goes on, it wears off fast. I am very odor-ific myself, and the only thing to control my stink is Degree Women, Shower Clean fragrance. I'd love to use the natural deodorants free of chemicals and aluminum, but they don't work for me either. Degree makes a dozen different scents, but they don't cover up my own stink, they just mix with it and it's terrible, Shower Clean is the only scent that does any good. Best of luck.

Recommendation for a good natural deodorant?

I have tried a variety of 'natural' deodorants including crystal sticks and none of them seem to work for me – I still sweat loads and it smells.

I have good personal hygiene but don't want to use a chemical-based deodorant. I currently use 'Tom's of Maine' and I might as well not use anything.

Any recommendations?
Table salt? Used how?

I got into using natural deodorant a year ago and I'm still working out the kinks. But I'll share what I've learned 🙂
Tom's of Maine Calendula works better than the Apricot.
I like Lush's deodorants(http://www.lushusa.com/shop/products/body/deodorants). You have to alternate because Aromacreme burns after you shave and can actually leave a rash if you use it too long (but it works!).
Weleda makes a spray deodorant that works pretty well, it's pricey though, and you can't use it on days you shave.

Is cosmetic clay a natural product?

What are some natural products for your skin?

Posted by Daddysgirl

Derma E makes all natural products for the skin. From vitamin c creams to alpha lipoic acid creams. Google it and see for yourself. Most can be purchased at health food stores, and some major department and drug chains also carry them. You can also order online.

I've been using them for the past 3 years, and basically, they do what they claim to do, if used regularly and over time(at least one year).
